Memorial Health University Medical Center is seeking a Program Director to join their well-known, established General Surgery residency program.
Qualified Candidates:
Must be American Board-certified in General Surgery
Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of prior academic leadership appointments and experience per the ACGME requirements
Have strong administrative and team building skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Combination teaching and clinical responsibilities
Will be responsible for administration and operations; teaching and scholarly activity; resident recruitment and selection, evaluation, promotion, and disciplinary action; supervision of residents; and resident education in the context of patient care
