Our successful, expanding retail client are currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join their friendly team in their busy Head Office in Plymouth. In a nutshell, the successful Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for measuring the performance of the warehousing and transportation element of the Supply Chain. You will be a key part of team, where your analysis will play a vital role in identifying opportunities to increase efficiencies and reduce costs all whilst maintaining service and accuracy levels. You will be naturally inquisitive and well-practiced in translating KPIs and statistics into tangible insights as well as providing data backed recommendations. There will be a requirement to visit various locations throughout the UK to assess quality control on a weekly basis, so traveling and getting out of the office will be the norm. Therefore, a full UK driver s license is required for the role. The successful Supply Chain Analyst will also: Investigate inventory adjustments and stock discrepancies in the distribution centres Analyse order fulfilment and planning metrics for over 180 stores as well as a very successful online operation Forecast DC inbound, outbound, and stock capacity requirements in line with long term business plans. As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will be: Analytical and commercially minded, with a keen eye for detail. Experience in the retail / logistics sector is desirable Knowledgeable in data extraction and analysis via SQL databases, advanced Excel formulae and Power BI Able to evaluate KPIs and data into real-world insights, effectively using data visualisations and written communication. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Experience of warehouse management / order management / ERP systems is desirable but not essential. This is a temporary to permanent position, with working hours being full time Mon-Fri 8:45am 5:30pm. Salary is competitive depending on experience.
